Along the way back to Hoi An, travelers have an opportunity to take stunning sunset photos with the subtle beauty of the Thu Bon river while enjoying some BBQ and homemade fruit rice wine before arriving in the ancient town of Hoi An. This experience combines history exploration with a chilling boat trip to make it more unforgettable.

An experienced local tour guide who has a good background about the site and a perfect command of English will accompany visitors on the trip.

An abstract about My Son sanctuary and Champa civilization:

My Son comprised 70 architectural works ranging from small to large monuments (only 20 temples remain due to the destruction of time and wars). My Son sanctuary was the most important religious center of the royal Cham from the 4th to 13th century. Tower-temples were erected to commemorate great victories and conquests, also where the souls of kings after death gathered with the Hindu gods, especially Shiva God.

Nowadays, My Son Sanctuary is the remaining cluster of ruined temples but it still attracts a lot of tourists in the world who love ancient architecture as well as the mysterious history of the Champa Kingdom.

TOUR ITINERARY: 5-6 hours

12:45 – 13:00: Pick up guests from hotels in Hoi An and depart to My Son. 

14:00 – 16:00: Arrive at My Son sanctuary and the experienced and passionate guide with a great command of English explains the historic and cultural values of the site  while pointing out nice angles for the best photo shots. During the visit, guests have some time to enjoy an included Cham Performance which is also a highlight of the tour. 

16:15: Visitors start to get back to the car/van and drive to the boat station where the group starts their cruise and BBQ time. The beautiful sunset is believed to make the tour even more enjoyable while the scenery and the fishing activities along the river are also interesting.

At around 17:30, travelers get back to the old town of Hoi An and are taken back to hotels.

Guests are advised to wear bright clothes to better suit the contrast of the temples.

• – More than 48 hours before departure: No charges
• – From 48 hours to 24 hours before departure: 50% of the tour price.
• – Less than 24 hours before departure or No show: 100% of the tour price.
